The area north of the Cristalino Lodge is protected within a mosaic of national parks and reserves that come together to form a conservation area covering over 2 million hectares of Amazon Rainforest. One of these sections is the 11,400 hectare privately protected Cristalino Reserve, which stands in continuous rainforest with this incredible area. You will then explore this section of rainforest to find abundant and diverse wildlife.
There are many walking trails around the Cristalino Lodge that take you past some of the best areas of the surrounding forest to see giant emergent trees and the best areas for wildlife viewing. The Napo Wildlife Center
The Napo Wildlife Center is a much-loved rainforest lodge in Ecuador’s Amazon Rainforest. The lodge is owned and operated by members of the Kichwa Añangu indigenous community and provides fantastic tours in the surrounding rainforest to see beautiful scenery, incredible animals, and fascinating plants.
Napo Wildlife Center is positioned in the highly diverse Yasuni National Park and is accessible from the port town of Coca in western Ecuador.
The Napo Wildlife Center contains 12 standard cabins and 4 luxury suites. Each of the accommodation options is styled with native furnishings and offers a private bathroom with hot water. The Amazon Villa

Enjoy a fascinating tour of Peru’s Amazon Rainforest. In addition to the canopy tower, rainforest walks, and smaller clay licks, from the Amazon Villa you can also visit a large macaw clay lick. This is one of the largest macaw clay licks in the Amazon Rainforest and you can sometimes see hundreds of brightly colored macaw parrots at one time.
The Amazon Villa itself features a very comfortable king-sized large bed, a place to use your laptop, WiFi, electricity in the rainforest, and a 40 inch flat screen television to watch nature videos and documentaries. There are some different clay licks from the Refugio Amazonas, which you can visit to see small mammals and also different parakeets. On the ‘a la carte’ program, you can also see the large Chuncho clay lick where visitors can see hundreds of brightly colored macaw parrots. On this program, you can also choose night walks, aerobotany and other citizen science projects.
Near the Refugio Amazonas Lodge, you can also visit a tall canopy tower where you can see out over the beautifully green rainforest canopy to see different birds and even monkeys moving through the trees.
