The Ololo Lodge offers a choice of room and suite options. Below you will also find information on the lounge, meals and in-house spa.
The Terrace Room
The Terrace Room is a generously-sized suite that marries colonial charm with contemporary comfort. Enjoy the aesthetic delight of curated artworks, fresh flowers from our garden, and colonial furnishings. A classic roll-top bath graces the marble bathroom, equipped with a bath, shower, and double basins. The suite's crowning jewel is the private terrace – your own serene haven or the perfect setting for an intimate private dinner. You can also add a single bed or baby cot and the option to interconnect to the Tower Room upstairs.
The Tower Room
The Tower Room are set within a stone-clad tower offering unmatched views across the park and the renowned Ngong Hills. This modern suite, bathed in natural light, showcases bespoke furniture crafted by our talented fundi carpenters from the Ololo workshop. Whether enjoying the breeze on your balcony or the panoramic views from your private rooftop terrace, you are encouraged to enhance the experience with a private dinner.
Though the Tower Room can be adapted into a twin setting, it does not accommodate an extra bed or cot. However, it can be connected with the Terrace Room for a seamless blend of seclusion and togetherness. Bathroom features include a shower and double basins.
Tented Cottages
Dive deep into the African wilderness with our safari-inspired Tented Cottages. Tucked amidst our verdant gardens and enveloped by acacia trees, each cottage features traditional makuti thatched roofs with stone and canvas walls. Each self-contained safari-style tent exudes comfort with king-sized beds, snug armchairs, and modern bathrooms. Your private terrace offers sweeping views of the national park, while the night serenades you with Africa's unique symphonies. An extra single bed or cot can be integrated into the space.

The Stable Cottage
The Stable Cottage has metamorphosed into a luminous three-bedroom haven from the farm’s simple hay-shed. Boasting two bathrooms, a functional kitchen, and a sprawling outdoor terrace, it caters to families or groups up to six. Its location at the end of the Stable Rooms offers peace and seclusion. Each bedroom is distinctly crafted - two double bedrooms and one twin. The room can also be fitted with a cot.

The Old Stable Rooms
Echoing the past, the original stone-walled stables of Ololo Farm have metamorphosed into seven distinct rooms, exuding coziness. Each room's design is a nod to history, complemented with en-suites and modern essentials. The small pergola-covered terraces overlook lush gardens and their thriving birdlife, making it ideal for groups or families wishing proximity.

The Family Wing
Ololo’s luminous Family Wing is a serene vantage point to soak in views of the Nairobi National Park and meticulously curated gardens. Step outside onto a sun-drenched stone terrace adorned with thriving potted plants or immerse yourself indoors amidst the gentle ambiance of light, complemented by the artisan touch of Ololo’s handcrafted furniture.
Nestled upstairs is a regal king-sized bedroom set in a snug mezzanine, characterized by a quaint en-suite bathroom boasting a classic bath nestled under authentic makuti thatch.
Venture downstairs to discover a rondaval-shaped living area with a dedicated family sleeping space. Equipped with a second bathroom and a functional kitchenette, this floor ensures comfort for every member of your party.

- Upstairs: Double room with en-suite (bath / single basin).
- Downstairs: Space for three, featuring a family bathroom (bath / shower / single basin). Option to add an extra bed.
The Guest Main Lounge
Your will journey into the heart of Ololo's legacy as you step into the Guest Main Lounge. Established as a safari lodge in 2016, the space is a harmonious blend of vintage charm and contemporary elegance. Every nook showcases an array of handcrafted furniture, the brilliant craftsmanship of our adept fundi carpenters, set against a rich tapestry of hand printed fabrics and artworks, inspired by both Kenya and Australia, the lodge founders’ original home.
Ololo's lounge invites you to bask in the warmth of a crackling fireplace, sipping wine from our stone cellar. Those seeking a serene retreat can find solace in the adjoining library.
Our open-concept restaurant, which spills into the lush expanse of our garden and park, offers an array of dining locations – be it under the vine-draped terrace or beneath the age-old embrace of an acacia trees. As the evening envelopes the safari lodge, gather for drinks around a glowing brazier or enjoy the warmth of the fire-pit. And on occasions when there is something special happening aroun the world, join the community as we project it on our large screen – be it a riveting World Cup match or a screening of 'Out of Africa'.
The Kitchen at Ololo
Gastronomy takes center stage at 'The Kitchen at Ololo'. With a daily evolving menu, our culinary artists pay homage to the farm's bounty. Revel in the delight of in-house baked bread, cakes, and pastries, each mouthful a testament to the fresh produce cultivated organically on our grounds.
