Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Welcome to the vibrant capital of Peru! Upon arrival, a representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel in Lima, where you can rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Day 2: Journey to Puerto Maldonado
An early flight whisks you to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Amazon. This flight should be booked for the morning, as your arrival to Puerto Maldonado should be by no later than 12:00. When in Puerto Maldonado, your naturalist guide will lead you by canoe to your jungle lodge. An afternoon trek introduces you to the diverse flora and fauna, followed by a nocturnal expedition to spot the rainforest's fascinating creatures. On this trail, frequently seen mammals include Agoutis, Pacas, Saddle-back Tamarins, and Brown Capuchins. The area is also a haven for various species of birds, such as Trogons and Toucans, as well as the iridescent Blue-Morpho butterflies, all thriving under the canopy of giant Brazil-nut and Dipteryx trees.

Day 6: Sacred Valley Wonders
You will be taken on a road that winds around the mountains north of Cusco. Discover the Sacred Valley's wonders, from the panoramic El Mirador to the terraced ruins of Pisac and the formidable fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Ollantaytambo to acclimate for the Inca Trail.

Today, your porters will wake you up early with a hot cup of coca tea to get you energised for the day ahead. You will conquer Dead Woman's Pass and descend to Pacaymayu. Climb to Runcuraccay Pass, explore Sayacmarca, and camp at Chaquicocha under a canopy of stars.
