Day 1 · Saturday
San Cristobal Arrival, Lobos Island & Kicker Rock
You'll land at San Cristóbal Airport, where the crew is waiting to bring you to the vessel. In the afternoon you'll head to Lobos Island to snorkel alongside sea lions that tend to circle curious swimmers rather than avoid them. The day winds down at Kicker Rock, an impressive formation shaped by centuries of erosion. The boat circles it slowly, giving you time to take in the scale of it as the light shifts.
Day 2 · Sunday
Pitt Point & Witch Hill
Pitt Point feels unlike anywhere else in the islands, almost like stepping onto a different planet. In the afternoon, Witch Hill offers a dinghy ride past dramatic rock formations along the shoreline before you land on a white sand beach with some of the clearest water in the islands.
Day 3 · Monday
Post Office Bay or Cormorant Point & Devil's Crown
Your morning stop is either Post Office Bay, where you can leave a letter in the barrel that whalers once used to send mail home, or Cormorant Point, where a short walk across green olivine sand leads to a lagoon dotted with flamingos. In the afternoon, everyone heads to Devil's Crown, a submerged volcanic crater off Floreana Island known for snorkelling with sharks, sea turtles and rays.
Day 4 · Tuesday
Departure
After breakfast on board, you're transferred back to San Cristóbal in time for your flight home.
Day 1 · Tuesday
Baltra Arrival & Bartholomew Island
You'll land at Baltra Island Airport, where the crew meets you and takes you straight to the boat to begin your cruise. The afternoon brings your first stop at Bartholomew Island, home to Pinnacle Rock, one of the most photographed formations in the Galápagos. The beaches at its base are ideal for a first snorkel, and there's a good chance you'll be swimming alongside Galápagos penguins.
Day 2 · Wednesday
Darwin Bay & Prince Philip's Steps
Darwin Bay sits inside the eroded rim of an ancient volcanic crater. Great frigatebirds gather along the beach here, while red-footed boobies nest in the trees just behind it. Later you'll climb Prince Philip's Steps, a stone stairway that leads up through a small patch of Scalesia forest, home to the short-eared owl, one of the few owls active during daylight.
Day 3 · Thursday
Espumilla Beach, Buccaneer Cove & Egas Port
Espumilla Beach is a stretch of pale sand where marine iguanas, Sally lightfoot crabs, herons and even octopi are commonly seen. From there you'll move on to Buccaneer Cove, once used by pirates and whalers to repair ships, restock water and load tortoises for their voyages. Today it's a quiet spot for a zodiac ride, snorkelling or kayaking. Egas Port closes out the day, a black sand beach that was once mined for salt and is now known for snorkelling and shorebird sightings, along with resident marine iguanas.
Day 4 · Friday
North Seymour, Santa Cruz Highlands & Charles Darwin Research Station
North Seymour Island holds the largest colony of magnificent frigatebirds in the Galápagos, along with blue-footed boobies performing their courtship dance. Up in the Santa Cruz highlands you'll see giant tortoises roaming free, along with sinkholes and lava tunnels carved into the landscape. The day ends at the Charles Darwin Research Station, where different tortoise subspecies are bred and prepared for reintroduction to the wild.
Day 5 · Saturday
Mosquera Islet & Departure
Mosquera Islet is a long sand bank, just over 600 metres end to end, home to one of the largest sea lion populations in the islands along with lava gulls and Sally lightfoot crabs, with orcas occasionally spotted offshore. After this last stop you'll be transferred to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
Day 1 · Saturday
Baltra Arrival & Chinese Hat
You'll land at Baltra Island Airport, where the crew is waiting to take you straight to the vessel. In the afternoon you'll visit Chinese Hat, named for its distinctive cone shape and a site rarely seen outside a Galápagos cruise, known for its volcanic geology and resident wildlife.
Day 2 · Sunday
Vicente Roca Point & Espinoza Point
A dinghy ride brings you into Vicente Roca Point, a wide bay split into two coves. The cooler water here draws in an abundance of marine life, so it's common to spot whales, dolphins and sea lions while you snorkel. Espinoza Point sits within a striking lava landscape dotted with lava cactus, with mangroves growing straight out of the rock.
Day 3 · Monday
Tagus Cove & Urbina Bay
At Tagus Cove you'll look out for the flightless cormorant and other seabirds before the trail climbs to a cliff top overlooking Darwin Lake, a saline lake saltier than the ocean itself. Urbina Bay follows, where uplifted coral formations sit alongside land iguanas, giant tortoises and lava lizards.
Day 4 · Tuesday
Elizabeth Bay & Moreno Point
The day starts with a zodiac ride past the Marielas Islets, home to the largest and most important penguin colony in the Galápagos, before continuing into a cove lined with red mangroves. Moreno Point rewards anyone interested in geology and birds alike, with a shoreline of rough lava left behind by an eruption decades ago.
Day 5 · Wednesday
Charles Darwin Research Station & Santa Cruz Highlands
At the Charles Darwin Research Station you'll see different tortoise subspecies being bred and readied for reintroduction to the wild. Up in the Santa Cruz highlands, those same tortoises roam free among sinkholes and lava tunnels carved into the terrain.
Day 6 · Thursday
South Plaza Island & Departure
South Plaza Island is a small, rocky island covered in endemic cacti and home to a healthy population of land iguanas. After this final stop you'll be transferred to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
Day 1 · Thursday
Baltra Arrival & Santa Fe Island
You'll land at Baltra Island Airport, where the crew is waiting to bring you straight to the vessel. Santa Fe Island offers two trail options, both good for spotting endemic species along the way. After the walk, a swim in calm water or a snorkel alongside playful sea lions is hard to resist.
Day 2 · Friday
Suarez Point & Gardner Bay
Suárez Point is a favourite among veteran Galápagos guides, and it's the one place in the islands where you can reliably expect to see the waved albatross. On Española Island, Gardner Bay offers a white sand beach where you can relax, snorkel or just soak up the sun next to sleeping sea lions. Some sailings substitute a visit to Osborn and Gardner Islets, a strong spot for underwater exploration and snorkelling.
Day 3 · Saturday
San Cristobal, Lobos Island & Kicker Rock
The San Cristóbal Interpretation Center walks you through the history of the islands across a series of exhibits. In the afternoon you'll head to Lobos Island to snorkel with sea lions, before finishing the day at Kicker Rock, a striking formation shaped by centuries of erosion, worth circling slowly for photos as the light changes.
Day 4 · Sunday
Pitt Point & Witch Hill
Pitt Point feels unlike anywhere else in the islands, almost like stepping onto a different planet. Witch Hill, a tuff cone on the southwest side of San Cristóbal, follows in the afternoon. A dinghy ride takes you in close to the rock formations along the shore before you land on a white sand beach with some of the clearest water in the archipelago.
Day 5 · Monday
Post Office Bay, Cormorant Point & Devil's Crown
At Post Office Bay you can leave a letter in the barrel that whalers once used to send mail home, a tradition that's carried on for over two centuries. Cormorant Point is the alternative stop, a walk across green olivine sand leading to a lagoon where flamingos gather. Either way, the afternoon takes you to Devil's Crown, a submerged volcanic crater off Floreana Island and one of the best places in the Galápagos to snorkel with sharks, sea turtles and rays.
Day 6 · Tuesday
Black Turtle Cove & Departure
Black Turtle Cove is explored by panga, drifting quietly past sharks, sea turtles, herons and sometimes a school of golden rays moving through the shallows. After this last stop you'll be transferred to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
