This afternoon, you visit the lush highlands of Santa Cruz Island, where giant tortoises roam freely in their natural environment. A walk through these misty, green landscapes offers excellent opportunities to observe these iconic reptiles.

AM: Rabida Island
Start the day with a visit to Rabida’s distinctive red sand beach—its unusual coloration the result of high iron content in the sand. A short trail leads to a saltwater lagoon, home to occasional flamingos. You then continue along a longer trail through palo santo trees for scenic views and a chance to observe nesting pelicans.
A guided snorkeling session follows along a cliff wall, where you may encounter sea lions, colorful reef fish, and marine iguanas.

PM: Bartolome Island
In the afternoon, climb the wooden staircase to the summit of Bartolome Island for panoramic views across Sullivan Bay and its dramatic volcanic formations. This is one of the most photographed viewpoints in the Galapagos.
After the hike, you explore Pinnacle Rock by snorkeling—a site known for its crystal waters and charismatic Galapagos penguins. Sea turtles, rays, and playful sea lions often accompany you here.

PM: Santa Fe Island

A scenic hike over volcanic tuff formations reveals a dynamic mix of geology and seabird life.
A snorkeling session follows, offering the chance to swim alongside sea lions, reef fish, and sea turtles.

PM: Witch Hill (San Cristobal Island)
Later in the day, enjoy a relaxing visit to Witch Hill’s expansive white sand beach. You can take a leisurely walk to a nearby lagoon to watch birdlife or simply unwind on the sand. Optional snorkeling invites you into the clear waters, where marine iguanas, rays, and curious sea lions await.
