Jock Safari Lodge is situated where the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers flow as one in the south-western corner of Kruger National Park. With exclusive access to 6,000 hectares of this magnificent protected area, we can spot Africa’s Big 5 game animals.
The Main Jock Lodge is surrounded by green trees and reed walls. The lodge includes 12 individually thatched rooms designed to offer an intimate and connected feeling with the landscape.
The new upgraded Skukuza Airport is fully operational from June 2014.
Jock Safari Lodge offers road transfers to and from the airport in open game drive vehicles, by a qualified ranger. Upon collection from the airport the adventure begins and refreshments will be served on the journey to the lodge.
Guest are liable to pay the Kruger Entry Fee of R62.00 per person. This they can do at the Lodge as we will arrange for the payment at the airport.
With the Skukuza Airport fully operational it will ensure less time travelling for guests as it is only a 1 hour road transfer from the airport to Jock Safari Lodge, whereas the KMIA is 2-3 hours. It is a cost effective way for guests to travel and once guests have landed inside the Kruger National Park they are able to experience game viewing straight away.

Road transfers are done by an accredited company with the applicable liability and insurances in place. All transfers must be booked through the Reservations department prior to arrival. Vehicles used for transfers might change due to availability, but will be similar in size.

Interactive game drives, lasting up to 3 hours, take place in the tranquil moods of sunrise and sunset. You are guided by your game ranger in an open game viewing vehicle and you are asked to share any particular interests with your ranger who will try to incorporate these into your game drive. On game drive guests will enjoy a sundowner drink at sunset and coffee/tea at sunrise. No persons under the age of 6 years are permitted to join game drives. Children from 4 years up to and including 6 years of age will enjoy game drives in a closed vehicle.
Qualified walking guides provide the opportunity for guests to experience the excitement of approaching species on foot. No persons under the age of 12 years are permitted to join the game walks. Kindly ensure to request this activity at the time of booking accommodation as nature walks are subject to the availability of qualified guides.
