Maasai Mara
The Maasai Mara is a large reserve in Kenya located in Narok county. The reserve is connected with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and famous for the Great Migration. This is where millions of wildebeest, gazelles, zebra and other African animals make the circular migration in these connected areas between January and March to follow the best grazing areas.
The Maasai Mara is named after the Maasai people who are the ancestral inhabitants of the region.
