Let’s have a more detailed look of the Belmond Adventure Peru Tour.

You will first arrive in Peru’s capital city of Lima where you will enjoy a night at the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel, which ranks as one of the city’s finest. After enjoying beautiful coastal views and a relaxing night’s sleep, it will be time to head to Cusco. This was the capital of the Incan Empire where you will find some incredible Incan and pre-Incan attractions.

After the Urubamba region, you will visit the Incan archaeological sites of Moras and Moray. Moras is an area of salt pans still used today by local inhabitants in much the same way as their Incan ancestors.

Moray is one of the most thought provoking structures of Andean civilizations. Moray is an area of concentric circles that resemble an amphitheatre. It’s now thought that this was an Incan laboratory to help produce the thousands of maize and potato varieties.

It is now time to begin your journey to the incredible structure of Machu Picchu. However, the journey there will be part of the experience. You will board the fantastic Vistadome train with skylights and large windows to absorb the beautiful Andean environment.

You will then enjoy a short trail dotted with archaeological attractions, including Wiñaywayna and the Sun Gate.

The Belmond Insider’s Peru Tour

The Belmond Insider’s Peru Tour offers a luxury 7-day experience of Peru, including Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

After your arrival in Peru’s capital city of Lima, you will stay your first night in the Belmond Miraflores Park hotel, which ranks as one of the top hotels in Lima. You will enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep before your journey to Cusco the following day.

Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be escorted to the luxurious Palacio Nazarenas Hotel. This was once a palace and convent, which now ranks as one of Cusco’s finest hotels. Due to its central location, the hotel is also a great base to explore Cusco city.

Enjoy guided tours of the city, including a tour of both Incan and colonial Spanish attractions. A fusion of both cultures is seen throughout the city.

The Belmond Essential Peru Tour

Amazon Rainforest Lodges

Clay Lick - Tambopata Reserve

Enjoy spotting several different monkeys on the surrounding trails, including howler monkeys, spider monkeys, titi monkeys and the curious capuchins and squirrel monkeys. From these lodges, you can also enjoy visiting a large macaw claylick where macaws and other parrots gather to feed from the medicinal clay. You can also spot other colorful birds, including the iconic toucans flying over the lodge.

The Tambopata Research Center

The Tambopata Research Center is one of the deepest lodges in the Amazon Rainforest. Due to their Deluxe Suites, this is also now one of the most comfortable lodges. Enjoy the surroundings of wildlife-rich rainforest where it’s common to see monkeys and parrots just outside your room.
