Gorilla Trekking, Kisoro, Uganda

The morning after you arrive at the lodge, you will begin the walk to the visitor registration area at the trailhead. Here, you will have a briefing on correct behavior around the gorillas. After this, it’s time for the trek. This is a difficult trek to time as it depends where the gorillas are in the forest and how long it takes to find them. However, once found, we can stay with the group for a maximum of one hour. You will then return to the lodge for some nice food and a relaxing night sleep.

The next morning, you will have your second gorilla experience. This time you will visit the Rushaga section of the park to find another gorilla group.
