This is linked to its excellent location for animals and plants, outstanding service, activities and customised itineraries with a personal guide.

Tucano Family Amazon Cruises

The Tucano Amazon Cruise is one of Nat Geo’s picks for the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest from Manaus – Brazil’s main gateway to the Amazon Rainforest. The cruise takes you deep into the Amazon on the Rio Negro to spot Amazon Rainforest plants and animals, including an abundance of bird life, monkeys and hopefully some rarer forest life. The cruise is styled as a traditional steam ship. As this is an expedition cruise, we will explore the Amazon on walks, kayaks and skiffs to experience this magnificent rainforest. Although all cruises are family friendly, we do have specific dates where we prioritize family Amazon cruises.

Some extra considerations…

The above tours were specifically chosen with families in mind, however, many of the other experiences offer fantastic Amazon rainforest tours where you can see large and colorful macaw parrots or the largest canopy tower in Amazonia. Some even have platforms set up for a glimpse of the Amazon Rainforest largest land mammal, the lowland Tapir.

The Amazon Rainforest is the world’s largest container of wildlife and because of this requires conserving for future generations. What better way to instill a sense of conservation in future generations than a family Amazon Rainforest tour. To close this article, here are some quotes:
